Surgical Reversal of Presbyopia

Do you use "reading glasses"?

If you are over the age of forty and if you are wearing reading glasses to see these words,
Dr. Burrell may have some very exciting news for you.

Presbyopia

As the years pass and we reach our forties we gradually lose our ability to focus on printed material or small objects that are up close. In other words, we need "longer arms" to read small print. Reading glasses eventually become an unwelcome necessity of life.

This eye condition, caused by the effects of time, is known as presbyopia. If you don't yet have presbyopia, eventually you will. We all will. As most of us know, having to go from no glasses to reading glasses can be very frustrating!

Surgical Reversal of Presbyopia or SRP

This technique, which has been successful for many people over 40 in many countries around the world, takes about an hour. It restores the eye's natural ability to focus at close range. The FDA is currently moving toward approval of SRP in the USA. For more information please contact Dr. Burrell.
