Dr Burrell is a board certified ophthalmologist. She came to Colorado for specialty training in refractive surgery. Once here, she couldn't leave our beautiful mountain state. Click for more info. Dr Mcquaid has been in private practice since moving to Colorado in 1989, joining Centennial Eye Associates in 2001. He enjoys lecturing, clinical training and travel as he periodically returns to teach optometry in Thailand. He has published articles on optical thin films, optometry and public health.    Gary manages the back office, IT systems and coordinates all LASIK surgeries. He's been an Ophthalmic Technician for over 12 years, aiding the doctor(s) in procedures ranging from eye exam testing to assisting in surgeries. He graduated from Pima Medical Institute with honors, earning an Associate of Applied Science Degree. Gary is happily married and a father of two. He enjoys the outdoors, playing hockey, and spending time with his family.    Christina is an Certified Ophthalmic Assistant and coordinates all surgeries and Botox parties.  She has been in the ophthalmic field since 1995 as an optician, ophthalmic technician, surgical assistant and skills trainer.  In her free time Christina enjoys scuba diving, British cars, hiking and most of all spending time with her baby daughter Megan and husband Michael.           Candy is single and enjoys spending time with friends and family. She has been in the eye care field for over 15 years.   Helen manages the Optical for Centennial Eye Associates.  She has been with Dr. Burrell for over 5 years and has been working in this field for over 15.  Helen graduated from Metropolitan State College with a degree in Biology with a minor in secondary school education. She enjoys tennis, reading, volleyball, but most of all Spending time with her 4 ½ year old daughter and husband.   Christa is an Optician and does a wide variety of jobs around the office.  She has been an Optician for over 5 years and she is American Board of Opticianry Certified.  She attends many continuing education courses to make sure she keeps current with new types of lenses, frame styles and all other options available to provide the highest quality pair of glasses.  She is happily married.  She enjoys tennis, horseback riding, watching movies, reading, traveling and spending time with her husband.   Donetta is at our front desk, greeting all pt’s with a smile.  Checking patients in and out, scheduling appointments, notifying patients of their up-coming appointments, and many other duties assisting members of the staff and patients. She  is a retired R.N. with many years of medical experience.  She has 2 grown children who she loves spending time with, and a toy poodle by the name of Cole who is her constant companion when she is not working.  She enjoys reading mystery novels in her leisure time     Angela is the newest member of the CEA Team working part-time.  She works at the front desk; some of her responsibilities include checking in patients, chart maintenance, scheduling, reminder calls, and various other tasks both at the front desk and in assistance to the rest of the staff.  She has worked in healthcare for ten years in many different environments, including the Emergency Department and for Private Practices.  She is happily married and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children (9&13yrs); and attending their children’s sporting events   Jill has been in the medical field for 9 years, eight as a veterinary tech and the past year in school and working as a medical biller. She enjoy spending time with her family and friends, reading and a is a gourmet cook.
